Dear USA Hockey Club of Michigan Families,
As we kick off the 2025–2026 season, I want to extend a warm welcome to all our returning and new families. The 2024–2025 season was a tremendous success—with multiple teams hanging championship banners at the rink—and we’re proud to share that our Association grew by another 20% year over year.
This season, our growth continues. We now field a total of 13 teams across the Association, including 10 travel teams and 3 full Future Stars teams at the 6U and 8U levels. Additionally, we have our first girls hockey team in nearly a decade! Of our 10 travel teams, seven will compete at the highest level in the Little Caesars Hockey League, while the remaining three continue to grow and develop in highly competitive divisions. This kind of expansion not only reflects the strength of our program but also reinforces our commitment to long-term player development at all levels.
Please take a moment to complete your registration for the USA Hockey Club of Michigan, HERE. (Click the blue REGISTER button in the bottom-right corner of the page.) We remain committed to keeping our registration fees competitive—often at or below those of other associations. Your dues directly fund impactful programming like Association Power Skating, Goalie Instruction, Sticks and Pucks sessions, free TeamSnap access, and Hudl, our video capture and analysis platform that helps players review film and improve their game. Please submit your payment no later than August 29th.
Because me and our Board serve on a volunteer basis, every dollar goes directly toward elevating the player experience.
As our Association grows, so does our need for additional support. We are currently seeking a Fundraising Coordinator—a critical volunteer role that would help expand resources and opportunities for our athletes. If you or someone you know has experience with fundraising, sponsorships, or donor outreach, please reach out to me directly. Your involvement could make a meaningful impact.
Finally, while we remain focused on competition and player development, our top priority will always be providing a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every skater. As part of the registration process, each player will acknowledge our Code of Conduct, reinforcing the values of respect, effort, and sportsmanship that define our club culture.
Thank you for being part of our growing hockey family. I look forward to another exciting season filled with development, teamwork, and success both on and off the ice.
Warm regards,
Kaul Lefief
